Our Purpose
Nurture Care believes that all cared-for children deserve the best opportunities, the best therapeutic care and the best environment in which to grow and thrive. Nurture Cares purpose is to bring new companies into the community and develop them into the best places to live or work for those in care. To this end, Nurture Care brings an innovative set of practices to improve the lot of all those within their community. Nurture Care believes that these practices should be the default across all providers, and has developed these models to improve children's social care for all.
All cared-for children can benefit from a therapeutic-based care practice, and so all children should receive a wide-ranging and interactive model of care, including therapeutic support, enrichment and educational opportunities. Most children only get an hour of therapist time each week, so Nurture Care developed a therapeutic training model for all staff to cover the other 167 hours each week that the child still needs therapeutic care. Nurture Care companies are fully trained in the Nurture Trail journey, supporting children through PACE and ARC and ensuring that they receive round-the-clock therapeutic care.
To deliver such care requires a well-trained workforce, and Nurture Care brings two proven methodologies to the training of its teams. All staff undergo a full training schedule including therapeutic parenting, safeguarding and report to ensure that children are safe and cared for at all times. And our best and brightest are trained through the Management Academy to grow into team leads, registered managers and responsible individuals allowing us to develop our most successful staff within the organisation with a clear path for our senior leaders to grow and progress.
The Journey with Us supports the needs of young people throughout their growth and development. By structuring the hives and colonies around the ability to flex to meet a young person's needs, Nurture Care can keep them within our community, removing the need to disrupt the young person when circumstances change and ensuring they have familiarity and continuity to their life. Nurture Care brings a new model of care to an overburdened system, reducing load on already stretched services through the application of long-term structural flexibility and well-developed growth plans to give all young people a stable environment for as long as they need it.
